
Afdhal recently defended his dissertation entitled: ” Development of a high fidelity anisotropic-viscoplastic constitutive model for finite element analysis of cold-rolled sheet metals”. In this research, Afdhal proposed an industry-friendly constitutive model for predicting earing phenomena in cup-drawn sheet metals with only a limited number of material parameters, hence, a limited number of experimental tests.
